A one-person plugin company in Oslo, making MIDI sequencers and tools built to be played.
WHO MAKES THEM?
I do. My name is Carlos, and Floof Audio is my company in Oslo. I started in Pure Data in 2018, took a computer engineering degree, and have spent the years since deep in C++ and JUCE. I write the code, test the releases and answer the support mail, so anything you send lands with the person who can act on it.
WHY THESE PLUGINS?
I kept getting lost in the technical side of production instead of finishing songs. Getting lost in a piece of hardware is a different thing entirely: you turn a knob, something happens you did not plan, and an hour disappears. This is why Floof Audio exists, to supplement DAWs with tools that feel more like hardware: fun, alive, and happy to surprise you.
WHAT’S NEXT?
More sequencers and MIDI tools are in progress, and Floof Station is getting audio plugin support. Some of the best features started as a suggestion from someone using the plugins, so feedback is always welcome. Purchases fund the next plugin directly, which is the most useful kind of support.
